It’s a “dirty south” thing.

Here in Charlotte it’s common to see 24"+ wheels on Charger/Challenger/300s, all manner of Crown Vics, GM B-bodies, etc.

One of the shops in town has four locations. They do car shows with the biggest local rap/hip hop/R&B station. They were featured in DUB a while back, too.
